BCP Theater and The Theater Guild of Ancon (TGA) from Panama City are thrilled to bring you ‘The Joke Bureau’!

Founded in 1950 by a visionary group of Panamanian and American citizens, TGA has been a cradle for talents like Robert Loggia and Ruben Blades under the guidance of director Bruce Quinn. Continuing its tradition of exceptional English language theater, TGA, in partnership with BCP Theater, is excited to present their latest hit comedy, ‘The Joke Bureau’, to Boquete.

After a triumphant run in Panama City in March 2024, where audiences were left in stitches, we are now bringing this must-see comedy to the BCP 2nd Stage dinner theater at Tap Out. Join us for a night of laughter, satire, and unforgettable performances!

About The Joke Bureau:
Set against the backdrop of a Soviet-era office, ‘The Joke Bureau’ is a side-splitting comedy that delves into the absurdities of bureaucracy and censorship. As officials attempt to regulate humor, the play unfolds through witty dialogue, slapstick humor, and sharp political satire.
